Windows NT - A preferred OS
I thought the days of Windows NT are over. Guess my surprise when I found that at least some of the ATMs in the UK are still running WinNT
I was caught off-guard by a machine which was doing its regular data copy / backup / transmit stuff and it made me wait for about 10 - 15 minutes to get some money.
PS : I am strongly expecting a comment from FunkiBluDawg who is more knowledgeable about the internals of an ATM :)

Kalignite supports WinNT, 2000, XP & Vista..
But the directory name is no indication of the OS..Could be Win2000 or even custom XP.
Be prepared for a even longer wait when/if they decide to install Vista.
Thank God, some companies are sensible to not install everything which comes from M$.
